Guiding Principles

We ask questions, listen to each other, and encourage two-way communication to better understand other points of view. We offer appreciation and gratitude generously in recognizing our accomplishments. We trust positive intent and demonstrate respect.

We take full responsibility for our mindsets, actions and results and trust others to do the same. We demonstrate integrity by creating and keeping our agreements with one another. No blaming, complaining, finger pointing, or deflecting.

We are committed to creating a culture of collaborative learning. We cultivate curiosity and maintain a learner’s mindset. The continuous growth and development of each individual (and all of us collectively) is a daily pursuit. We are forward-thinking. We are generous with our learning, sharing what we know and what we do not know with one another as we innovate our way into our shared future.

We embrace, protect, and pursue our diversity, collaborating together as one team toward our shared goals, and have fun doing so. We value people as members of the MTP family, as well as the families that they belong to.

Safety is a guiding principle behind everything we do. To ensure the personal safety of our associates, the psychological safety of our culture, the safety of our animals and the food we produce we are constantly evaluating the process. See Something, Say Something, DO Something.
